My first footy game

It was my first ever footy show in Australia, thanks to Dan's free tickets.
It was trully an experience. Something like a concert, something like a sports game. Something like both, if that made any sense.
I finally understood the rules of the game. Adam sure helped with the explanation of the rules.Thanks man.
Cold, but not as cold as i thought it would be. We were prepared with bundles and bundles of blankets. I had fun. Unfortunately, Port (Adelaide's home team) lost.

My first indian festival in Adelaide. DD's first festival in Adelaide too! $7.00 entrance fee. I met Florence, Willie, and Kaminee there.

I never knew there were so many indians in Adelaide. Indian food. Indian dance performances. Indian movies. So much life in the park, brotherly love everywhere, dancing and cheering. It was everyone's event. Children running about. Not far away, their parents chasing after them. Couples seated on the grass enjoying the beautiful weather and life of the festival. Without any warning, a dance would suddenly break out behind where we are standing, dancing to the beat of the music of the performances.

Unfortunately, due to limited time available, some performances were forced to be cut short. While the last few performances of the night had to be cancelled. I can only imagine how bad that would feel. Endless hours of rehearsals and preparation; the build up of excitement for the night and have in the end the disappointment of being told that they wont be able to performing. Performances went on till 1030pm.

Thanks to DD, the moment is captured.

My very first Royal Show. It is just like a carnival, the difference is, you pay to get in and everything in there you need to pay for too. Food, games, gifts... etc. :p

It came in a HUGE serve. Didn't try it though. But the lines were long for this one.

Basically it is a hotdog fried in batter. Like a corn-dog you know.

The prizes were all so colorful. Those toys were just sitting there waiting to be won by boyfriend. ;)

We were finished with a movie, actually no... the aircon in the cinema was busted! Remember? We just walked out and got our refund. ;p It was 12 am plus. The whole of 1u was already closed. We didn't want to go home. This was part of what we did. Youtube has features more of our night. Heard of "Door way to heaven" and "runaway flip flop"? All these happened on the same night. :D

So there was this ladies event where you pay an entrance fee of $20. However many clothes you bring, however many you can exchange for. On top of that, you get a free drink! But we now know what the free drink was for.

The line was long, the ladies were waiting.. the drink entertained. ;p
